Time Flies!

I can't quite believe that it has been so long since I wrote on the blog. I am such a slacker! I haven't quite determined how I can feel like I am so busy and have no time, and the when I sit down to write about it I can't think of a darn thing I have done. Makes you wonder if you are productive or just spinning your wheels. Oh well, we are all happy and somewhat healthy (little spring time colds) and that's all that matters.

DOUG PASSED HIS JAVA CERTIFICATION TEST!!!!!!! We are very proud of this accomplishment, and are glad that Doug put in the effort to pass.

This Easter was really fun. We went up to Beaver Dam that Saturday and had the annual Bowcutt Family Easter egg hunt. The kids had lots of fun with the cousins, and it was actually the first time I didn't worry so much about my kids getting into trouble. There is something to be said about living far far away from a road other than your driveway. The kids are getting so big, before we know it they all will be teenagers, and the fun little kid moments will be gone.

Doug and I celebrated our 7th anniversary the beginning of this month. We went to Tepanyaki and to a movie (Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3-D) One guess who picked that one out. If you can believe it we hadn't seen another movie since the last Harry Potter came out. I truly have to say that I am the luckiest girl alive to have such a wonderful husband. We have so much fun together and just cuddling together is the best part of my day. He always makes me smile, and even puts up with my cranky moods without complaining. He does the dishes and vacuums the house weekly. I have no idea how he puts up with me, but am so grateful that he does. I know it's silly, but I am already counting the days to his retirement. I can't wait to spend more time with him. We are so lucky to have found one another, no one could be more perfect for me then Doug!

I know, if you're still reading good for you. No one should have to put up with that kind of cheese, but it must be said for posterity.

I ordered a HUGE load of dirt for our garden the other day, it will be so nice to have my flower beds full and things growing in them. I can't wait to get the peas and tomatoes planted. MMMMM garden food. I love the summer.

This week I started walking three miles a night with some ladies in the neighborhood. It's lots of fun, and gets me moving right before bed. Knocked me on my butt at first (because it's at 9:00 at night) but I will get used to it, then things will begin to tighten up (isn't that what we all strive for?)

That's about it for the Ensign home. Below are Easter pictures. My kids are so cute!
